Wild Food Tiles Mini-Expansion/KS Promo tiles

The Wild Food Tiles Mini-Expansion adds 9 Wild Food Tiles to Deep Dive. These can be used in any game of Deep Dive. 

SETUP

After standard game setup, place Wild Food Tiles faceup adjacent to, but separate from, the facedown Ocean Tiles in each of their respective ocean depths.

GAMEPLAY

Predation with Wild Food Tiles

If the 3rd and final Penguin in your waddle encounters a Predator Tile, you must retreat all of your Penguins. The Penguin that just encountered the Predator, as well as the two others, retreat back to the surface. However, they do not leave empty-handed! When you retreat your Penguins back to the surface, you may bring a single faceup Food or Rock Tile. The single faceup Tile must be from any of the depths that you have a trapped Penguin, including the Penguin that was just trapped. This can include a Wild Food Tile adjacent to one of the depths where there was a trapped Penguin!

[Note: Wild Food Tiles may NOT be selected when diving to each level. They may only be selected when retreating with your trapped Penguins.]

Resurfacing with Wild Food Tiles

Wild Food Tiles must be assigned to a specific column of your tableau when collected. If they are collected before all of the columns of the tableau have been defined (pink, green, yellow) they may be placed on the first row/set of the tableau and their color may be determined once the other two colors have been added to that row/set.

SCORING

When scoring, all Wild Food Tiles will have already been assigned to a specific column(color) of your tableau, and will be scored following the base rules, like you would any base tile of that color.
